I truly feel like the science is extremely nuanced. They’re taking averages across the globe and to be honest most every average person doesn’t even work out. And those that do most of them it’s very moderate workouts. So how does this correlate to people that train in semi to frequent intensity?

This seems kind of misleading tho. Did the people in the study live similar lifestyles? Bcuz people who average 10k per day typically also focus on other aspects of their health more than someone doing 5k, so can it really be attributed to just the steps?
