Don’t go to ER for this. They will place you on a mental health hold and restrain you if you try to leave. Try outpatient services

I showed up so many times clearly in an episode none of the professionals had any idea or could offer help.🙄 It took one knowledgeable therapist three seconds to figure it out.

Psychosis is real. The brain is overactive and overwhelmed. It can happen to anyone. After psychosis the sufferer is traumatized by what happened during psychosis, and over analyze their confused thoughts repeatedly which is exhausting! Very scary!🙏❤️

I was bought in by paramedics and police both times. I wouldn't have been able to take myself in because my delusions had me believing that the doctors/police etc were trying to unalive me, not help me. 😭

I was the opposite, completely full of myself and insanely confident yet at the same time in a major state of paranoia. the stuff I convinced myself was happening was ridiculous

A lot of these comments are strange. Actual psychosis isn’t scary because you don’t even feel crazy. “Crazy people don’t know they’re crazy.” and anytime anyones in psychosis, it’s an involuntary commit

Try going to jail while having psychosis, they put you in solitary and ask you all these questions but you can’t respond so you sit in there for over a month without an hour out because you can’t answer them. 😞 I fear I’ll never be okay.
