China only makes $8.46 from an iphone sale. Apple did not make China great. China made China great by investing in infrastructure, education, Healthcare, etc. Yes China learns from the companies that bring manufacturing to China but if it was that easy then why isn't any other country doing the same? China did great moving it's people out of poverty

sounds more like Apple was only able to produce the products it has because they utilised the skills of the Chinese to accomplish what they themselves could not. then when the US tried to consume power over the Chinese they decided to use their own skilled workers to surpass Apple in all ways now the west wants to take credit for that as well

China requires all foreign actors manufacturing within their borders , to share their technology first. I imagine this is to ensure they aren’t building things that will be used against them. Either way, they get tech that they didn’t have to spend billions, researching and developing themselves, for free.🤷♂️

My last Apple product (ordered through Apple Store app) came with a huge sticker on it saying it had only been DESIGNED by Apple but was actually a Chinese product.
