@bentune: after fixing the map sensor issue, repairing the injector wiring, and replacing the spark plugs, it was time to move on to the next problem: the flex fuel sensor. the car got tuned on 91 octane and made some decent numbers but the flex fuel sensor was not reporting ethanol content correctly. after some investigation, it was wired to the PCM correctly, but the owner had connected the 12v power wire to another sensors 5V reference somewhere. a simple cut-&-splice later, the sensor was working with the correct patch applied to the PCM. most P59 PCMs have the flex fuel switch in the tune, but it is not enabled in the background. a custom patch must be applied to get it working which was also not done to this car and I didn't cover it in the video, but it needed to be done. #bentune #hptuners #dyno #tuning #mustangdyno #dynotuning #gm #Pontiac #GTO #LSX #LS1 #LS6 #boost #supercharged #procharger #boosted #F1 #A #F1A #alltheboost #nobeltlag #racecar #e85 #ethanol #flex #fuel #flexfuel #corn #mechanic #mechanicsoftiktok #repair #work #lfg #Monday
