@kazishafiqur: Conversations around music in Islam are never simple. In this clip, the discussion touches on how opinions evolve, how we come to our own conclusions, and how we sit with differences even when we do not agree. It is less about who is right and more about being honest with where you stand, while respecting where others stand too. That balance between conviction and compassion? That is what makes these conversations worth having. 🎙️A clip from the latest episode of Side by Side Podcast with Kazi Shafiqur Rahman – Link In Bio #podcast #london #ukpodcast #business #entrepreneur

Brother ehsan, please consult the scholars you trust and maybe get some knowledge on uncommon (shaadh) opinions in fiqh, which are not considered within the scope of ‘differences of opinion’ - music falls within this. If we start to tolerate shaadh opinions, the ummah will become very unstable as is the case now

Ask yourself would you listen to music in the presence of rasolullah?
Would you prefer to memorise music when you could memorise surahs?

These “opinions” have been debunked so many times now. There is NO difference of opinion on music.
