⚠️ Parents—check your kids’ magnetic toys. One of mine broke and a tiny magnet came loose. These can be really dangerous if swallowed. I got lucky.  Most of the warnings about these in the news are related to the loose magnets or the knock-off brands and while I don’t know the brand of this tile because it was a gift, I do have the magnatiles and their website also says to supervise play and check regularly for broken pieces.   I know it’s hard to avoid toys like this, especially when kids love to build with them but at minimum, reduce the risks by supervising play and checking for broken pieces. Also if you have any childcare who will be playing with magnets, make sure they know what to look out for as well.   _____________________________  ESPANOL:   Padres: revisen los juguetes magnéticos de sus hijos. Tuve suerte.  La mayoría de las advertencias en las noticias están relacionadas con imanes sueltos o marcas imitadoras. Aunque no sé la marca de este juguete porque fue un regalo, también tengo piezas de Magnatiles , y en su sitio web dicen que se debe supervisar el juego y revisar regularmente si hay piezas rotas.  Sé que es difícil evitar este tipo de juguetes, especialmente cuando a los niños les encanta construir con ellos, pero como mínimo, reduzcan los riesgos supervisando el juego y revisando que no haya piezas rotas.
