I’m back at @WoolyPig to Asian fusion spot in SF — and they just dropped a breakfast menu that’s got me feeling like it’s Animals out here. Leading the lineup? The Bulgogi Breakfast Burrito — scallion eggs, tots, chipotle sriracha aioli, kimchi onions, and bell peppers. Korean BBQ for breakfast? That’s a Scared to Be Lonely situation with your old breakfast spot. Next: the Yu Shroom — sautéed yao choy, fried egg, and mushroom cream sauce on garlicky ciabatta. Earthy, creamy, and addictive — I’m In the Name of Love with it. Millennial instincts kicked in, so I had to try their Smash Toast — avocado’s cooler cousin with cherry tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and microgreens on a buttered-up ciabatta. High on Life levels of good. Their breakfast sandwich? A garlic butter English muffin stacked with scallion crepe eggs, juicy sausage, spring mix, and tomato.
