If you’re new to onigiri, think perfectly shaped rice balls filled with savory (and sometimes sweet!) ingredients, wrapped in seaweed — perfect as a light snack or full meal. They’ve got such a wide variety of flavors — from mentaiko, karaage, and eel to mushroom, plum, and sukiyaki — it was SO hard to choose. I ended up loving everything we ordered, but my absolute favorite was the tuna with a hidden shiso leaf underneath. That refreshing, herbal pop took it to another level 🌿😍 They also offer an Onigiri Combo that includes two rice balls of your choice, miso soup, and a rotating side dish — highly recommend if you’re hungry! Plus, their drink menu is just as good, with smooth matcha, roasted hojicha (my fave!), and other Japanese classics. @HanamizukiCafe is cozy, authentic, and just full of love.
