Ppl the “break-in” periods are just to project the manufacturers from ppl not respecting the motorcycle fresh off the lot. The amount of testing these new bikes get, you don’t have to baby it. Just change the oil reasonably early, cause the first time will have shavings.

my first bike/current bike is 05 Dyna super glide. never ridden a 4wheeler let alone dirt bike/motorcycle when I bought it. my dad taught me how to control it in an empty parking lot learned how to ride in my neighborhood lol just trust the bike
