Just use a cord without data transfer if you can, I think they need USB 2.0 capabilities to be certified though. Plus to my knowledge juice jacking hasn't been seen in the wild before, not to say it's impossible it likely is circumstantially.

I use the Anker Prime power bank. It’s within the spec allowed for air travel and the charging dock makes it easy to use. I never plug anything directly into a power outlet.

Always bring a portable charger for travel ...I don't need to be searching for power outlets or USB charging hubs in public and hope that they're not being used already

Use a magsafe battery and charge that, no computer no hacking. Or get a mag cord. They don’t transmit data. Just power

I always wonder however how people transform these into juice jackets. You can't just insert something in the USB cause its designed to fit snug. I would assume the airport doesn't have a managed network or any data going through the USB. So I always wondered how.

there are cheap adapters that cut out the data line, so you can use any cable without modification
