@metrouk: Four people who were injured after a car crashed into a crowd of Liverpool fans yesterday evening remain in hospital in serious condition, the city’s mayor has said. However, there are signs of improvement, with at least one person having undergone major surgery overnight and all continuing to recover. North West Ambulance Service said 27 people were taken to the hospital, 20 people were treated at the scene and four children were among the injured.
