Hate this guy personally, one of the biggest evils that Poland met in modern history, but just to make it clear: He made this statement due to ongoing presidential elections and accusations (which I agree with) that he's just a servant of the west, after the "west" (Germany and France, mostly) stated they will exclude Poland from rebuilding Ukraine. Everyone knows how much money is waiting there, so he needed those words. Shouldn't be shocking for anyone though - this war (like many others) is just a machine to make many, making many to pay for a few.
