Moving on from us doesn’t cause panic it causes reflection because it triggers the unworthiness in us. We don’t want control of anyone we want you to be able to care for yourself the same way we can care for ourselves emotionally and that presents as the distance behaviour. It’s keeping someone close enough to us because we really love them but far enough from us so we don’t get hurt and that’s our issue because love shouldn’t be about living guarded it’s about opening up to someone and seeing how they’ll treat you.
