Are you sure it’s not MRSA Hon , if it is MRSA those antibiotics will not cover it . Go to the ER , get some IV antibiotics! They can also culture it .

Well, not sure who prescribed those antibiotics, but that is likely a staph infection/MRSA; which means that it is penicillin resistant. That amoxicillin won’t do a thing but upset your guts and put you at risk of C Diff. Also, you need mupirocin not neosporin.

So I’ve had cystic problems. I would say go to the emergency because they will completely drain it out and clean it out. Get all the bacteria. There could be a little sock in there. The sock has to come out to make sure it doesn’t regrow even though you’re squeezing it or it might be an issuewhere you have to keep squeezing it so best to go to an emergency room and let them clean it.
