empty crown-yas Kaitara was a Kalashtar, who was the embodiment of a character who failed to live up to the expectations of her culture and family. Her father was a great warrior and her mother an oracle. They both had died and she was just chasing their ghosts. She found herself unable to connect to her Quori which left her frustrated and when the Kalashtar temple was attacked and she was the only survivor it created this deep emotion of survivors guilt. The weakest of her kind would have to become the legacy and carrier of all of them.

Language of the Lost - Riproducer. Good song for my character who’s a sentient weapon possessing the dead body of their beloved former wielder, who saved them from an abusive wielder. They pretend to be human as they struggle w/ their identity as weapon yet human, object yet living soul, exploring their suddenly open world. Yes the song does fit that specifically.

one of my player characters has adventurer parents that (famously) had a love story and then disappeared after having her and lowkey.... they're very The Kids Aren't Alright by Fall Out Boy (the whole genesis of the campaign setting was "creature" by half•alive, though, so that would supersede? i'm not religious but it's so fascinating to me)
