Fast forward to May: I now have 2 funded accounts. My goal is to five😃 And no, I don’t do this full-time. I trade after UK work hours. No pressure to make it my main income. Just a deep interest in learning a skill that compounds. What’s worked for me so far: 1. Risk Management – Losing is part of the game. It’s the entry fee to learn. 2. Topstep Trading Live – Listening to pros sharpened how I think about setups. 3. AI – ChatGPT helped me grasp Supply & Demand and ICT concepts fast. 4. Study smart – Trading in the Zone, Best Loser Wins, and Discords like Octaviatrades/Daniel Holmes keep me focused. 5. Be a lifetime student – My best trades come from patient learning, not rushing. I see teens balancing this with uni—and that inspired me to squeeze in time after work. Day trading won’t be for everyone, but if you enjoy strategy, psychology, and a bit of risk… This might just be the hobby that pays you.
