It's so odd when a many "criticisms" of a TTRPG lately are just their inability to communicate with the rude people they choose to play games with lol. Also, Daggerheart's Rulebook tells you as a player & gm to check in with quiet players, encourage them to narrative control or use a spotlight tracker.

While it isn’t most players, I’ve played at too many tables with one person wanting the spotlight all of the time. It only takes one person like this to be a problem

Ultimately these discussions come down to people failing to identify that not every game is for everyone. People talk about a game being "better" when it's more "better for this style".
