I've heard that walking differently - especially tip toe walking - is common with hEDs. I personally have a slight limp, but I don't think it's hEDs related, and moreso just back issues😭🙏

i have classical EDS and walk + stand like this and toe walk/stand on the sides of my feet. i have no idea if it's related to or caused by hypermobility or it's a co-existing thing though

I do, it’s more noticeable on my left leg though which i think is because I have less control and feeling to correct it, idk what to call it, but I walk with my toes slightly facing in too

When I was little, I walked like that and fell constantly. After they gave me orthopedic soles, and it solves the problem

I have EDS and walk with most of my weight on the sides of my feet (over pronation). I think a lot of EDS people walk a little differently than normal people :/

I do that but it's not bc of HEDS!! It's where my femer is attached to my pelvis, my femer is turned inwards!

It’s prob femoral anteversion or rétroversion (I always get them confused). If you’ve ever gotten a hip ct it’ll show the angle!

I did this when young. They called it pigeon-toed. I used to trip over my own feet constantly and legs were covered in bruises lol.
