@christresilient: “God Works All Things for Good… But Not Like You Think” 📖 Verse: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…” – Romans 8:28 ⸻ God’s version of “good” might cost you everything you thought you needed. ⸻ Romans 8:28 doesn’t mean what most people think it does. It’s not a feel-good verse about everything working out your way. It’s a reality check about everything working out God’s way. Paul didn’t write that line after a promotion. He wrote it in the middle of suffering— to a Church that was being persecuted, scattered, and pushed to their limits. He wasn’t saying “You’ll get your dream job.” He was saying, “You’ll get shaped to look like Jesus.” Because in verse 29, Paul defines what “good” actually means: “That we might be conformed to the image of His Son.” That means: The breakup? Might’ve been the blessing. The delay? Part of the design. The storm? Exactly what refined you. He’s not working it for your comfort. He’s working it for your Christ-likeness. And sometimes God’s best gift… is the thing He never lets you have. ⸻ Comment “WORK IT FOR GOOD” if you’re trusting God with the things that didn’t go your way. ⸻ #Romans828 #GodsPlanNotMine #RefinedByFire #Christlikeness #ChristResilient
