We love the guided kayak waterfall tour with @KayakingAdventuresofTN - Eddie & Tara are the best! 📍Located 1.5 hours from Chattanooga or Nashville Eddie & Tara are very knowledgeable about the area AND a small business (just 2 of them) which I will ALWAYS support as a small tour guiding business owner myself 🫶🏼 Their trips are no rush, and they really make sure you have an awesome time! You can swim, hangout, take photos, etc 📸 These videos were from our 2nd time with them a few years ago :) 🛶 THE KAYAK TOUR: - PRE-BOOK ONLY! - $60 per person + tax - They provide everything you need for paddling - Easy 2 mile paddle to the falls & back - Flat water & great for beginners - Pack a lunch to eat at the falls! - Trip lasts from 9:15am CST to 3:30pm CST - No pets on tour - Kids aged 9+ welcome Can’t make the tour? - They have info on their site for how to visit yourself! ☀️Be sure to follow them and check this out before summer ends! ⚠️You can view this waterfall from an overlook above the falls via a hike in the state park, HOWEVER the base is *only accessible by water* (can’t hike to the bottom!) 🛶 Years ago the staircase leading to the base of this falls was washed away in a flood and the park never rebuilt it.
