@cookwithhali: No-Knead Toast Bread Fluffy, soft, better than store bought, no junk and perfectly light Ingredients: • All-purpose flour: 350g (2¾ cups) • Milk: 205ml (¾ cup + 1 tbsp) • Egg: 1 large (≈ 50g) • Sugar: 23g (2 tbsp) • Vegetable oil: 18ml (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) • Instant dry yeast: 6g (2 tsp) • Salt: 4.5g (¾ tsp) ⸻ Instructions: 1. In a bowl, mix milk, yeast, sugar, and egg. 2. Add the flour and mix until combined. 3. Cover and rest for 15 minutes. 4. Add oil and salt, then fold the dough like an envelope. 5. Rest 15 minutes, then fold once more (2 total folds). 6. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, until doubled. 7. Fold and shape into a loaf, place in a toast bread pan. 8. Cover and let rise again for 1 hour. 9. Brush with a little milk, cover the pan, and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 25 minutes. 10. Cover with a kitchen towel and let cool completely before slicing.
