I respectfully disagree. “No inital consequences”? They have been away from their kids, and loved ones for years! They do NOT get that time back, I can guarantee they aren’t going to be repeat offenders. They have served time.

I honestly think pardoning should not be a thing at…. But Biden pardoned his entire family and so many others. But of course Trump can’t do anything that would make democrats happy.

you can't say they didn't have consequences they did. They got very harsh sentences for their charges compared to others with same charges. Trump may have pardoned them but the person behind him that is am advocate is the real mvp and is helping alot of people

He pardoned alot of blk people. 20 years for white collar crime is excessive,they already served several years.Trump is the 1st president to sit down with the Naacp, the black caucus and other organizations to discuss prison reform. Every democratic president has refused to give them even 5 minutes. Biden is responsible for the 1993 or 94 I forget the year, crime bill. Their daughter is already working for others to be released and plans to continue advocating for prison reform. soooo

Problem is they never admitted to what they did and showed remorse. They never admitted any guilt or responsibility and blamed others. They plead not guilty but found guilty during their trial. If they had I think more people would be by their side and accepting of this pardon.

All the whataboutism about Biden and Hunter? As an independent voter, I thought republicans were about law and order and the democrats were the ones light on crime? Pick and choose. Republicans are supposed to have “higher standards”. But this is why they say “same bird, different wings”.

I’m sooo Glad they are Pardoned. Is the system broken for so many others? Absolutely yes!! They are wealthy & this helped their case no matter how we look at it. They didn’t deserve the sentence they got though.
