I'm a crafter so I print my proxies on sticker paper and then stick them over a basic land card so it feels/functions like a real card without the fuss of having a piece of paper floating around in my sleeve

no its fair. but I know Standard and Modern doesn't allow players to proxy (although kinda up to your LGS owner) typically tho no one cares in Commander/Legacy/ect.
