Transfer directly from BILT to Japan Airlines. This offers the best value for your points as you can book one way business class flights on JAL from NYC To Tokyo for as little as 75,000 points. 2. Transfer to Cathay Pacific from Amex, Bilt, or Chase and use Cathay to book japan airlines. This method has a few more steps and offers a little less value for your points, as business class flights from the US to Tokyo cost 89,000 points. 3. Transfer to Alaska Airlines: You can also book Japan Airlines using Alaska airlines miles. You can transfer directly to Alaska from BILT or you can transfer your Amex points to Hawaiian airlines and convert the Hawaiian points to Alaska Air. Keep in mind this method is expiring on June 30th. Business class flights on Japan airlines cost 75k Alaska air miles, offering great value. 4. Transfer to Air Canada: You can also book flights to Japan using air Canada aeroplan. You can use aeroplan to secure flights on United Polaris for 100k points or occasionally you can find availability on ANA.
