There’s no perfect trip to Lisbon without a bit of art and architecture! So that’s why I made you this list of my top 4 favorite museums to visit in town 👇🏻 💙 Museu Nacional do Azulejo: 👉🏻 Housed in the beautiful Madre de Deus Convent, Museu Nacional do Azulejo has the most unique collection of tiles. 👉🏻 It’s open every day except Monday, and there are tile painting workshops every Sunday at 11:30 am (but make sure to book in advance)! 💚 Gulbenkian Centro de Arte Moderna: 👉🏻 The locals’ favorite museum in Lisbon, as it has a bit of everything: art, gardens, architecture, and a delicious restaurant. 👉🏻 ps: it quickly became one of the most beautiful places to photograph in town! 👉🏻 The gardens are open daily and the Modern Art Centre is only closed on Tuesdays. The Founder’s Collection (not shown in this video), on the other hand, is closed for renovation until July 2026. 💛 MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology): 👉🏻 One of Lisbon’s favorite sunset spots, thanks to its iconic riverside design. 👉🏻 They regularly host (rotating) national and international exhibitions.
