I don't get it. dating has always been a numbers game regardless of how you meet people. as long as you're a good person and show emotional maturity and actually listen on dates then it's so much easier. dating only got harder because the bar has been raised for men and the men complaining have still failed to raise their own bar

I told myself for 4 years “if I’m on the dating apps then other great people have to be on there too” but after 2 failed relationships (emotional immaturity after I ignored initial red flags) and millions of abysmal effort in talking stages, I’m done with them for good. I think everyone good has decided to meet irl. That’s where I’m heading.

What this person fails to realize is we know about 90% of that battalion are men we wouldn't touch with a 10 foot stick. Just because there are a lot of men waiting in line doesn't mean we see that as a good thing, nor that the line is full of good options.
