that’s why I always film a video of mine and also add a note that it was filmed when it was packed and dropped off, they would prob get scared and never even try to scam, or even if they did I have proof

Same happened to me. She claimed damage (damage was to the outside box) and I’d put it in a cardboard box and bubble wrap but still was told it wasn’t packaged correctly. She got the item and refund and told me she will resell for higher lol.

Sounds like they could be having you on they probably took out the magazines and just said the parcel was empty lots of people do that

I’ve never had a single parcel come double packaged. Had something come the other day in a shein bag so could have easily opened!!

the seller never wins these cases. I found it very hard to speak to customer service regarding someone saying there was only one item in the bag instead of 2 I even got an abusive message and it seems that's allowed as well

the fact that vinted, where you selling stuff for nothing, requires more packaging than you get from Amazon and major retailers is ridiculous.

I almost always double bag and like to be genuine and post quickly. Unfortunately if I buy from vinted items are of poor quality, posted late or vinted cancelled order as seller never posted. it's very disappointing so come on people, be honest with what your selling. ps.... cheap packaging can be bought on tiktoc and even recycled outer packaging is ok, I've turned next packaging inside out to re use and some packaging is reusable with the stick down strip.

Vinted are beyond belief. I’ve lost out buying and selling so don’t use anymore. There is no protection for anyone so the scammers win all the time

I havent read the packaging rules, but I wrap mine in tissue paper and then put the item into a postal bag because it’s the decent thing to do.
