So how can it be stolen if the concept of ownership didn’t exist?

So then who owns France? England? Germany? And every other country? The group of people who conquered it.

How you you explain tribes killing each other to expand their territories? Honest question if they didn’t believe “owned by occupation” why did they and everyone else kill for it?

So much ignorance here from people who don’t know our history.. yes some nations went to war with one another but most didn’t.. proof of trading from South America to Alaska. My ppl made peace with all the nations that they could, diplomacy was clearly there and the nation we went to war with had nothing to do with land or resources. We didn’t agree with what they were doing to other people. So in other words it was over human rights violations in our eyes.

Intertribal warfare was a common practice for Native American tribes, often stemming from the need to defend resources, expand territory, acquire slaves, or avenge wrongs. Young men were often motivated to participate in military operations for the honor and prestige it brought

I agree. The question is how we move forward? Also if it was stolen how is it First Nations continued to get paid for it? We need to clarify how to move forward.
