What makes ZipString truly unique is that its string actually flies — not just spins. Thanks to its ultra-light, fuzzy texture and high-speed motors, the string generates aerodynamic lift as it moves. The tiny fibers on the string create air resistance (or drag), which helps lift it into the air. If the string were smooth, it would simply droop — much like the String Thing does when lifted off a surface.
