In 2016 I had a stroke after a brain bleed whilst doing a boot camp fitness program. That was an absolutely terrifying time of my life, I didn’t think I’d make it. What I did find out though, was who were my true friends. The amount of people who I was so so close to who didn’t check up on me and I didn’t see for a long time was unreal. Literally acted like they didn’t know me, yet when I started to get better and started to be able to walk and talk more they’d be like ‘oh you must come out for a drink with us sometime soon’ - ‘nope I’m ok thanx, I could of done with you coming round mine for a cuppa when I was home bound as id of been there in an instance for you if the tables were turned’ I have to admit it did break my heart
