As a child who had a parent who was abusive, he is completely wrong. It was horrible for me.

We removed ourselves from that abusive man ...My kids and I are way better without him. And my kids dont want to talk to him anymore and they are 27,24,16 and 11 yrs old. They suffered enough

True 👏 the one thing that children need to learn is Respect and that comes from both parents. What your child see will define who he or she will be like.

if a child is born between the couple, he/she becomes the little plant that they must watchfully raise for the rest of their life. Men plan carefully if they want to have a family and it's not for the means of love alone but of commitment in higher levels of one's life to live

But there are some of us who took on the stepfather role and raised good balanced young men!

Who's talking about a stepfather? It's about removing the child from the toxic environment. And, if none of the parents was directly abusive to the child, they can be much better parents separately.

Still sounds like people need to make better choices on who they marry and have kids with.

I will say I grew up in a verbally abusive home but i give my parents grace because they were just babies. They didn’t know what they were doing and how their fighting was affecting us as kids. I’m glad they never separated even though i used to pray they would. Love my parents 💗

I was begging my parents to get a divorce. Constant stress and anxiety not knowing what will I come home to today. Police, self injury as the only way to get attention while they fight

What about if the parents act like adults, make peace with each other, and try to make the relationship work, rather than arguing all time, not agreeing, and not enjoying time together? What about if they take accountability and make better choices?

Mr. Jager :
Even if mom and dad are unhappy, always fighting, calling each other names and being violent, should they just stay together for the child? No. A child wants nothing more than to see their parents happy and to have a safe place. Children feel that stress when there is constant fighting. Staying together doesn’t make anyone happy and no one finds peace at home that way.

and when the father sees that things don't look right or has a feeling about it he's ignored or gets a restraining order or something for simply voice and not something that's not right with that guy
