hey yall a problem I keep having with my AC is that the outside unit will just stop running randomly and the inside blower will keep running. I won't notice untill it gets hotter in the house and all I do to get it to get it back on is turn the thermostat to off and then back to cool and it kicks on. it has a new contactor and capacitor in the unit outside that I had to replace a while back but it was doing the same thing before then. Any ideas? Maybe a bad thermostat?

I thought those stats have a “B” terminal, not a common, which would be the reason the “thermostat” is popping the fuse.

I know that shitty thermostat VERY well.....the customer put the Common wire on the "B" terminal, so heat energizing it shorting to Common....it's NOT thermostat, but the Common on thr B terminal!
