“I did that as a kid” yes, lots of kids do this but it’s about the frequency of behaviors that are indicative of this diagnosis

Friendly reminder to other parents, just because your child does some of this (or even all of this), doesn’t by default mean they have autism. See a professional if you’re concerned.

This the only accurate one I seen. Other ppl just diagnosing their babies instead of noticing milestones and motor skills

Really insightful video here folks. As an RBT who is currently getting their masters in ABA, everything in this tik tok is correct. Some people in these comments have no idea what they are talking about lol.

Tired of seeing all kids do this it’s normal. You guys don’t get it because you don’t have a child with autism. Never been around a child with autism. Y’all just don’t get it.

i’ve been so worried about my son having autism. his dad’s autistic and my brothers autistic. he’s only 7 months so i’m hoping it’s just infant stuff but he also rocks back and forth, stares into lights and jumps🥹

Why nowadays parents tend to normalize their kids have autism based on kid behavior?

People seem to be in denial lol kids may do some of these things - some of the time, but they underestimate how long and often autistic children do these things

a big one for me is my daughter was not pointing! milestones are different for every child, but my daughter didn’t start pointing until recently and she’s 6.

Jude reminds me so much of my oldest son and how he was at that age. He’s 9 now and nonverbal. But trying so hard everyday to have speech, signing, and uses his AAC like a wiz.
