It's semantics from those people, because they know that he's obviously ethnically Jewish, but they also think God is his literal dad, so like half-Jewish really? They consistently depict him as white and the church controls what depictions can be used in the church context and sells them in their official bookstore AND they absolutely think he is the head of THEIR CHURCH, aka the only true church, so yeah, they do think he's Mormon for all intents and purposes. --from an exmormon who left at age 38.

baptisms for the dead are incredibly common for Mormons. they used to do it for just anybody but ppl (rightfully) put up a fuss about it now I think they just stick to Mormon families

I Mormon temple also post humously baptized Anne Frank as a Mormon (without the consent of anyone related her). It seems like converting famous Jews to Mormonism post humously and without their consent isnt a one time thing.

Once you read about the founding of Mormonism it’s really hard to take it seriously. Like you’re telling me you really beleive Mr. Polygamy Joseph Smith wasn’t a narcissist, making stuff up to make the world be his way. Like I’m sorry. I can be respectful to a religion as a whole.
