@hope4childrendisability: 🚨🚨‼️‼️ This is Alice. A little girl whose life began with pain no child should ever know. She was abandoned by her parents not because she did something wrong, but because she was born with a disability. In many parts of our community, this is heartbreakingly common. Children born with abnormalities are often seen as curses or burdens, and many parents simply walk away leaving them to suffer or die in silence. Alice was one of them. Today, she lives under the humble care of her elderly grandmother, who has little to give but love. Alice is severely malnourished, weak, and fragile. She urgently needs nutritional support, therapeutic feeding (like Plumpy’Nut), clean water, regular medical check-ups, deworming treatment, clothing, and physical and emotional therapy. Her grandmother cannot afford these, but she holds on, hoping someone will care enough to help. I have returned, after two and a half years in my own healing, ready to fight again through H4CD Uganda (Hope for Children with Disabilities). I will not stand by while children like Alice are forgotten. I will fight for her rights, her dignity, her chance to live — and I ask you to join me.
