You can only upload up to 20 documents directly. If you need to work with 10,000+ documents, you’ll need to implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). That means creating a Python service that connects your documents to the Custom GPT via an HTTP endpoint, then adding that endpoint to your GPT’s configuration JSON.
