@dearalyne: This is the first time in human history that “Decentering men” is truly an option. My own mother couldn’t have her own bank account or sign for a house herself when she was younger. (Now, she co-signed mine! ❤️) We are LITERALLY the FIRST generation of women that have the opportunity to 100% provide for ourselves, financially, medically, physically, and emotionally. I was still raised in a world that despite yelling “girl power” SHOWED me that a man was what would complete my life . No one said it directly, but it was just obvious. They had access to better jobs, better Money, they were the presidents of the world, they were the CEOS. Like duh - I needed a man. But now I’m seeing other women, realize, and I am realizing… just like men have been taught to put themselves first, we can do it too. That’s crazy. THATS powerful. So girls, gays, and guys - do what boys are taught to do. Put your self at the center of your life. It doesn’t mean, we don’t love and appreciate men, we can even more (love without dependence and fear). ❤️ it doesn’t mean, there’s not room for a partner or love, or a family. It means you’ll build it together. Instead of building it around someone else. Thanks for learning with me!
