Most people don’t realize that many traffic lights have sensors. I was behind a car, waiting for the light to turn green, while the other directions kept moving. I couldn’t stand it any longer, so I got out of my car and asked the driver to move forward a bit to trigger the sensor. He moved, and the light changed immediately.

well in my country when the lights aren't working it usually blinks yellow but if it's the same thing here you don't wait you just I guess pay more attention to the traffic and the people that are crossing the road and yeah

Flash your head lights to the traffic light several times and it will trigger the sensor. NEVER assume it’s broken.
