I don't believe he should be charged. Yes, he was the life guard and he's the one that saved the boy. Where we're the parents? How did they not notice either? The life guard shouldn't have been arrested, he did his job. He saved the boy.

I have two children under 8, I don’t care if there is 20 life guards and they are the only kids in the pool. My eyes would not be off them.

I almost drowned when I was 10 years old. I jumped into the deep pool couldn't swim. somehow I managed to grab the side of the pool spitting up water. pulled myself up the side when the lifeguard yelled NEXT TIME USE THE LADDER.
