I had this new job and they said for our next meeting to show up with "2 fun facts". The meeting rolls by and I present my 2 facts... They let me say them both and then told me they meant facts about ME. So embarrassing, instructions unclear 😭

I was sitting in psychology class in HS and the teacher showed us a video and then said we’re gonna do something else. She said “write down everything you think of for 1 minute.” I wrote down everything my brain came up with, which were random nouns that were so random/unhinged. Then she asked someone to share what they wrote, and they all had a synopsis of the video tied to psychology. I started erasing everything so fast. Still haunts me lol

I also heard the alternate meaning of the punchline to that joke recently and I've never thought of that my entire life. it's always just been haha obviously he wanted to cross the street that's why he crossed the street

yeah I thought it was an anti joke. like yeah the chicken just wanted to get to the other side of the road. I thought it was funny because it wasn't funny

I wrote a poem in elementary school that got published in a poetry book and it was about swimming with dolphins…. Never interacted with an actual dolphin in my entire life 😭

I just recently heard that “theory” of the chicken dying.. but I feel like getting to the other side of the road is the real joke.. but I’m also audhd so 🤷🏻♀️

The chicken thing is a play on words literally they are going to the other side of the road but also the act js dangerous and they might cross the the "other side" from life to death.
