wrong, corporate taxes are paid on profit, so raising corp taxes encourages reinvestment, expansion, training, salaries, research and design etc

What are you talking about? Corporate taxes are based on net revenue after all expenses, ie. Profits, that aren’t re-invested on growth or any initiatives.

small business owner here. S-corp. also if the business makes no profits it doesn't pay taxes. so my business makes no profits every year. it all goes into my paycheck. when they raise taxes it gives me a reason to raise prices.

Easy fix raise taxes on 1 million and above salary. Make loans against stocks, realestate as taxable income. Make donations taxable too problem is solved
