Truth! It was all secretive and not to be talked about. Same thing with menstrual cycles. We were told about it but it just wasn’t discussed after the initial info. Very taboo back in the day.

I would say the first half of millennials were raised similarly to GenX. I'm an 82 millennial with 6 GenX siblings and we were raised the same. As a 43 yo in perimenopause, it was shocking for me to learn suicide rates in women peak during peri/menopause. WE HAVE TO ADVOCATE FOR ALL WOMEN. THAT is something we care about.
