OB sonographer 👋 Congrats on twins! But in this particular video, it only shows one sac. The second area you’re seeing is not within the endometrium and is “flickering” because they are blood vessels 😊

This is why it’s important to go to school for ultrasound. Yes you may be pregnant with twins but there is one baby in this image. You can make things into something if you don’t know exactly what you are looking at. There’s a reason allll the sonographers are saying this lol. Congratulations on your twins though💗

That thing on the left is a uterine vessel, not a baby. It is VERY common for a second twin to show up later so although that spot looks like the second baby it’s not. Second baby showed up later…which again, is normal.

if you’re talking about what’s on the left of the screen-looks like prominent uterine vessels. very common because your uterus and baby need more blood to grow, especially if this isn’t your first pregnancy

Twin mom here and I can confirm in this video there isnt two sacs and two babies, second baby was most likely hidden and the doctor/sonographer in the video failed to locate the second baby. I found out I was having twins at 7 weeks and 1 day. So my scan looked a little similar to this scan but mine were maternal and shared a placenta, but had separate sacs. Congrats on your twins! But please don’t argue with people who are educated and have many years of experience it’s unnecessary. Multiple professionals have stated what that black space to the left is and at this time the scan only showed one baby. Happens a lot at the early stages of twin pregnancy they tend to hide or vanish later on in pregnancy etc.

Thanks for sharing. At my first transvaginal ultrasound at a pregnancy center confirmed by tech and ob twins 2 heart beats 2 crls and referred to an ob for pre natal care . The second ob had a tech do a rushed 10 minute abdominal and is saying singleton. They won’t look at the first ob photos or letter certifying twin pregnancy finding. Where i live there are no other obs that accept transfers. Your video helped me ease some anxiety and im hoping at my 11 week appointment this week that they take me seriously and do a transvaginal scan 🙏 congratulations

7 weeks pregnant and I'm now at the hospital (not an emergency), but the sonographer told me it's too early to say if they are twins, but my husband saw that she put "sac 1 & sac 2." What does that mean? A sonographer, please help.

the sonogramers are not arguing the fact that there are twins.. They are saying in this particular video, that the so called 2nd sac are just vessels. the other baby is somewhere else.
