Almost impossible. Protein is more important while in a deficit. While losing weight you need to give the body a reason to keep the muscle you’ve built. Train just as hard prioritise protein more than ever.

everyones saying no but i am lol i think genetics play a huge role too. obviously if youre in a surplus + eat protein you‘re gonna gain it quicker but its not „impossible“

it's so easy to hit protein most people overestimate how much you need. you only need 1.6 per kg of body weight so if ur 60kg you need 96 grams of protein a day

NOOO, I even lost a little bit of muscle while eating up to 200g of protein… you have to eat enough protein and do strength or/and hiit training to maintain/build muscles.

So basically the calories are the energy the builders need to build the wall (muscle) and the protein is the bricks. If they have neither energy nor the bricks… well, the wall ain’t building itself

Yes but not a lot. I am eating 1300 cals and 100g protein and lifting to failure and gained a bit of muscle in about 4 months

I never cared about protein and I always build muscles just fine even in calorie deficit. But I eat normal food, not fastfood and sh*t like that, so ig I eat enough protein, I just cant be bothered by it lol.

Yes, but also no. Most likely to be achievable as an absolute beginner.

you can, but you would see better gains with having higher protein, you can build yourself up to a number but look at least at 1.6g/kg up to 2.2g/kg of bodyweight for the best result :)

beginners can gain muscle in a mild deficit, but you should get your protein, train consistently and get enough sleep

You need protein and also carbs, thanks very important. The low carbs diet scare me!! if you want to build muscle and lose weight, you need both

yes girl!! as long as you eat lots of protein unfortunately, chicken has the best protein for the best macros, 122 cals for around 25g of protein for one fillet c

Honestly it’s possible but you have to get ur nutrition on point if your deficit isn’t too extreme you can 100% achieve body recomp and SOME muscle growth speaking from my own experience 💕

i am doing the same as you do, kcal deficit and power training. But my protein intake is high its around 100-130 gram, which you should also try to aim for. Definitely saw progress!

keep your protein intake high while in a deficit no matter what so you lose more fat than muscle, yes you can build muscle in a calorie deficit but its more ideal to build muscle at maintenance

Yes in a deficit but absolutely not without enough protein. In fact, a deficit in general is pretty redundant without sufficient protein
