The legend of Cthulhu was born. After this legend: Octopus were, for a brief time, bred for warfare, and when such a noble creature is betrayed: you feel it empathetically. Just give it a very large tank, let it visit the ocean, but always take it home or give it a tank to escape into the ocean from, but one it can return to, if it comes back, and respect that your now the custodian of that ambassador if it does.

Sashimi knew no different after being Hand Fed all her life. She only knew Human Interaction so should have kept her in a Huge Tank for her to enjoy a Healthy Life. Putting her back into the Ocean could mean that she goes close to Humans thinking they are safe but those Humans may not be so and could cause her harm. If Animals are established, yeah do not take them out of that Climate but from a baby, I would not put an Animal with no clue of the outside World into the outside World. Very clever Animal but I’d have kept her to keep her Safe and enjoyed watching the things she can do with Human Interaction.
