Today at 2 PM, his time is set to run out — unless someone steps up to save him. Brutus came into the shelter with Mama Zula, a fellow dog and recent mama who gave birth shortly after arrival. Despite the claim that Brutus is “dog selective,” it’s important to remember: he walked into that shelter with another dog by his side. That speaks volumes. Sometimes “dog selective” just means he’s overwhelmed, confused, or trying to cope in an environment that brings out the worst in even the kindest dogs. 💔 Shelters are loud, chaotic, and frightening. Dogs like Brutus — who once knew companionship, who walked in with a friend — suddenly find themselves in a concrete kennel, surrounded by constant barking, unfamiliar smells, and no comfort.
