I made the sleeziest wizard scammer I could as a red herring in a 3-shot I ran and gave him the most obnoxious voice I could possibly do. He now has his own lore and shows up to swindle the party in every campaign regardless of who's running it, and I get to voice him each time 😂

They haven’t ran into a reoccurring npc yet but I set one up recently, they have however kept running into references to the hags from curse of strahd, last camping the hag coven the party was trying to take down was cousins with the CoS ones, now we’re in spelljammer and one of the commanders for the bral fleet said he buys dreamy pastries from their world

Plot twist it's a different person everytime & they're all related like all the nurse Joys & officer Jenny's in pokemon. "Know you?? OH!! You must mean my cousin *fantasy city* Bartholomew the Bard! Or if you met them on the road you might mean my other cousin Bartholomew- he's on a journey to *find himself* 🙄 Its quite embarrassing, we only see him at the family reunion these last few years."
