As a child, being raised by a single Mom, my Mom couldn’t come to any of my school events because she worked all night and slept during the day to provide for me and my sisters. Today, I was able to spend the day at my daughter’s school because they asked me to. I was able to give my children what I couldn’t have…and I didn’t need anyone’s permission! THAT is why I invested in myself, when everyone told me that I was crazy!!
