my puppy is doing this! she’s so food motivated she either is hand fed or if i don’t have time we’ve got multiple slow feeders and sniffle mats!

Our vet also explained some breeds live to eat (like a lab) and other breeds eat to live (husky).

my pittie always scarfs down her bowl but has never been aggressive about it. when i realized when it wasn’t an issue was when she was eating and i was crying in the other room, she stopped just to make sure i was ok. would not leave my side until i stopped crying🥹

my english bulldog has 2 slow feeders contemplating a third but at least she waits for her food to be served now she knows to wait till you tell her she can eat but she’s a like a vacuum

I think I will try this. Our girl both eats and drinks way too fast. She was a stray with her brother. We have a slow feeder and a slow water bowl.

My dogs been biting the doorknob and throwing herself at the door when we leave the house. We moved a month ago, she wasnt like this at our last place. Any ideas why she may be so anxious?

I feel like crap throwing my dogs food on the ground in the grass but she’s a livestock dog that fought for food so I have to slow her down. Also a trainer but I know it’s helping her in the long run.

Absolutely!! When I had my foster dog I would walk over and pour chicken broth in his bowl, he kept backing up when I would walk near waiting for chicken broth lmao 😂
