I remember reading somewhere as a child that the oils on our hands can slightly harm them as the absorb them through their skin. It’s good to know you can still hold them as long as our hands are clean:)

Please be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before and afterwards. The toxin is on their skin and will get on your hands and their skin is sensitive so it does harm them if your hands are dirty or have lotion, oil, sanitizer residue on them.
